Another Saturday without Rovers in action at the Keepmoat Stadium means another opportunity to get out and support the borough’s other football clubs. And you know what, if you do, you might even see some real life actual goals being scored. Proper ones too; not just inadvertent shanks over a goalkeeper, penalties or a fella allowed to stroll halfway down the field like a sulking child taking his ball home.
If you’re not going to Port Vale then you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to football in the local area. Six of our clubs in action across four matches, including three local derbies; and all for less than it’d cost you for a pie and a pint at an understaffed stadium concession stand. Here’s your options; go forth, enjoy the sunshine and live one of them this weekend.

DONCASTER ROVERS BELLES

|Ordinarily we wouldn’t feature a Belles away game in here, but we’re making an exception to the rule this week to remind you that we’ll be helping the Belles deliver live match commentary of this fixture. Commentary by Glen Wilson and Chris Donald will be delivered live via the Mixlr app from around 1:45pm. Follow the Belles on twitter for more details of how to listen.|
